MISSION

The mission of Morning Star Childrens Home is to be a sanctuary for these less fortunate children, where they are showered with unconditional love, guidance and mentorship in their spiritual, emotional and physical lives.

This will be achieved by creating and maintaining a conducive environment for the personal growth and development of all those that come through the gates of Morning Star Childrens Home, both children and staff, in order that they may achieve their God given potential.

It is the intention and aim of Morning Star Childrens Home to have the necessary and adequate infrastructure in place, which will enable it to better serve these less fortunate children. This means Morning Star Childrens Home having its own property and facilities where the children have the same liberty and luxury as they would in their own homes and to create a sense of ownership in their Home. This will be achieved by having a Home complete with a School, which means that the basic and essential needs for these children are confidently and assuredly met.

Morning Star Childrens Home intends to have in place all these, so that it can guarantee these children’s` growth and development - educationally, socially and essentially spiritually. Eventually so that these children will be the young men and women God intended and purposed them to be.

VISION

The Vision for Morning Star Childrens Home is to nurture and raise up-standing, honest and hard-working young men and women, founded upon the Word of God, who shall benefit and advance their society, generation and the grater Body of Christ. (Daniel 11:32(b) )

The nurturing and realization of the God given talent and potential inherent in these less fortunate children is the paramount Vision of Morning Star Childrens Home, where we are determined that despite all the disadvantages that these children start out with in life, it shall not deter or diminish their chances from studying in universities, domestically or internationally, becoming heart or brain surgeons, pilots, but ultimately its for each and every child to be successful in their own right and achieve all that they do, and all this founded upon the Word of God.

It is also Morning Star Childrens Home Vision for those entrusted with the care and responsibility of these children that they also may be able to achieve the deposits that God has invested in them. It is that the staff may grow more as individuals in their capacity to love, care and mentor HIV orphaned children even as they would their own. Morning Star Childrens Home envisages staff whose own lives are transformed for the better by their experience at the Home, where they are able to acquire skills and talents that can be applicable wherever else they may find themselves, either in a personal or professional capacity

Paramount in Morning Star Childrens Home Vision is the establishment of the Home on its property complete with the following:
